Welcome to City Of Burlington Police Department
The City of Burlington Police Department is Accredited through the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. Our Department strives to be a model Law Enforcement Agency through commitment to excellence and partnerships with our community. With core values of Integrity, Professionalism and Service we will continue to enhance the quality for all residents of the City of Burlington.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

2026 Car Shows Supporting Police Foundation
We’re proud to share that the City of Burlington Police Foundation is officially up and running. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit was created to support the Burlington City Police Department and enhance the services we provide to our community. Through the Foundation, funding will go toward outreach programs, support for specialized units like K9, officer training, and essential equipment, particularly those needs that fall outside of the department’s operating budget, helping us better serve Burlington City. The Foundation will also be hosting this year’s Downtown Burlington Car Show in October and supporting Cruise Nights throughout the summer, events that will directly benefit their efforts. We encourage our community to follow the City of Burlington Police Foundation page, share it with others, and stay connected for upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.
