BCPD Investigating Shooting Incident

 

On Sunday, September 5, 2021 at approximately 8:48 PM Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to the 200 block of Wood St. for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers met with the victims who reported that their two year old child sustained a graze wound to the thigh. The injury was minor and did not require medical attention. The victims reported three male subjects in dark clothing approached them and attempted to carjack them. During the altercation one of the subjects brandished a firearm and shot twice into the vehicle. The subjects then fled the area on foot.
