The City of Burlington Police Department would like thank Sergeant Todd Viereck for his dedicated service and Congratulate him on his well earned retirement this week.

Sergeant Viereck began his career with Burlington County Central Communications in 1996. He was hired as a Class I, then moving to Class II with the City of Burlington Police Department in 1999. He was hired by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department in 2000, finally coming to the City of Burlington Police Department in 2003 as a full time Officer.

During his 25+ years of service, Sergeant Viereck served in the Patrol Division, first as an Patrol Officer and a School Resource Officer, before being promoted to Sergeant. He also served as the Supervisor of the Traffic Unit. In addition, he was a Firearms Instructor, G.R.E.A.T program Instructor and Hostage Negotiator.
