Graduation season is a perfect time to learn about rideshare safety. In 2019, legislation requiring additional identification for drivers was signed into law by Governor Phil Murphy, spurred by the tragic loss of Samantha “Sami” Josephson.
Sami’s heartbreaking death shook us all. Mistakenly entering a car she thought was her rideshare, she tragically lost her life. Because of her parents’ advocacy and tireless efforts, we’re working to ensure safety for all passengers to prevent tragedies like Sami’s from happening again.
