It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

⚾️ ⚾️ CELEBRATE OUR HOMETOWN HERO ⚾️ ⚾️

Chief Fine began his career in 1999 as a SLEO Class I officer and was a Police Explorer prior to being employed with BCPD. He was hired as a full-time officer in 2001 and rose through the ranks in the Detective Bureau, Special Response Team, Traffic Unit, and Police Administration. Chief Fine was appointed Chief of Police by Mayor Barry Conaway in April 2019. Chief Fine implemented several changes within the department as well as arranged programs such as the Riverfront Chaplains, Volunteers of America, Straight to Treatment, and Burlington County Social Services to partner with BCPD. He also worked collectively with the City of Burlington School District to implement what is now a very successful School Resource Officer program, among many other Community Policing Initiatives. HAVE YOU HEARD OF SAMI’S LAW IN NEW JERSEY? #SamisLaw #WhatsMyName
Graduation season is a perfect time to learn about rideshare safety. In 2019, legislation requiring additional identification for drivers was signed into law by Governor Phil Murphy, spurred by the tragic loss of Samantha "Sami" Josephson. Sami's heartbreaking death shook us all. Mistakenly entering a car she thought was her rideshare, she tragically lost her life. Because of her parents’ advocacy and tireless efforts, we’re working to ensure safety for all passengers to prevent tragedies like Sami's from happening again. We stand with the Josephson family and all those affected by rideshare-related tragedies. By enhancing protections for rideshare users, we honor Sami’s memory and work to ensure that her legacy is honored. Learn more: whatsmyname.org #SamisLaw #WhatsMyName
