Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
PRESS RELEASE – 3/21/24
On Thursday, March 21, 2024 at approximately 3:44AM, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to Mitchell Court for a report of two (2) subjects breaking into motor vehicles. As patrols arrived, they observed a vehicle leaving Mitchell Court onto Mitchell Ave at a high rate of speed. Officers made an attempt to catch up to the vehicle as it continued at a high rate of speed and eventually crashed into a fence in the 500 block of High St. Two (2) occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers pursued both individuals and were able to apprehend them after a brief pursuit. Further investigation revealed that the subjects broke into a total of four (4) vehicles in Burlington City. One (1) of the vehicles was stolen from a residence on Bordentown Rd., but was abandoned when it became disabled on Mitchell Ave. In addition, the vehicle that was used to flee the area was previously reported stolen in Philadelphia, PA. PRESS RELEASE Accreditation Assessment Team Invites Public Comment A team of assessors from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) on Monday, March 25, 2024, will examine all aspects of the City of Burlington Police Department policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services Chief John Fine announced today. Marine Corp Reserve – Toys For Tots
The City of Burlington Police Department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from now thru December for the Marine Corp Reserve - Toys For Tots. Donations will be accepted at City Hall, 525 High Street, Burlington, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The donation bin is located in the lobby, just outside the Police Department. Burlington County Expungement Clinic – Thursday, November 2nd
The free annual event also features a job and resource fair. The third annual Burlington County Expungement Clinic will be held Thursday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at two locations, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington City and the JFK Recreation Center in Willingboro Township. Those who attend will be able to speak with an attorney to see whether certain non-violent convictions can be expunged, which means they will be erased from their criminal history. “Many people who made mistakes earlier in life are still being punished simply because they have a criminal record,” Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. “They have already paid their debt to society, and should not continue to be punished by their history when they apply for jobs, housing or other services they may need to improve their situations and help their families.” Prosecutor Bradshaw emphasized that this service, which is entirely free, would be very costly if done through a private attorney.
