Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

Starting the week off strong with the one and only Officer Hesson. We received this message from a parent of Saint Paul School, Burlington. "Sps mom here, and we love our school officer! Thank you for keeping our school safe! My kids all love seeing him in the mornings! Today was "dress as what you want to be when you grow up" and Mikey dressed like his favorite officer " Way to go Officer Hesson! NATIONAL POLICE WEEK 2023
NATIONAL POLICE WEEK 2023: HONORING AND REMEMBERING OUR FALLEN LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS Again, this year, communities across the United States will honor and remember those law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the family members, friends, and fellow officers they left behind. This year, the names of 556 officers killed in the line of duty are being added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. These 556 officers include 224 officers who were killed during 2022, plus 332 officers who died in previous years, but whose stories of sacrifice had been lost to history until now. Youth Police Academy 2023!
The City of Burlington Police Department and the Edgewater Park Township Police Department are now accepting applications for our joint Youth Police Academy 2023. Applications may be picked up at either department or by clicking the link below. Any questions please contact Edgewater Park Police Lieutenant John Harris, Burlington City Police Detective Will Lancenese or Burlington City Police Reserve Officer Jeff Green. Breakfast with our Boys Series
Have you heard of Breakfast with our Boys?? "The mission of the Breakfast with Our Boys Series, is to provide male youth with guidance and support, to become productive, caring and responsible citizens in their communities" Breakfast with Our Boys Series is a monthly interactive conversation with boy's 10-15 years of age, over breakfast.
