Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

FREE Health Festival – Saturday, 8/10/24
Southern Jersey Family Medical Center is having a FREE Health Festival on Saturday August 10th from 12 PM to 3 PM with health screenings, giveaways, free backpacks for school, and much more! For further information see the flyer below or visit www.sjfmc.org

The HOPE One mobile access unit offers critical support for persons and their families struggling with addiction, and related issues, with the goals of preventing drug overdoses and deaths and providing linkages for treatment and recovery support services putting them on the road to recovery and wellness.

We are less than a week away from National Night Out 2024!! Tuesday August 6th!!!
As always, this is a FREE EVENT for all. We will have food, music, school supply/backpack giveaway, facepainting, emergency vehicles on display, dunk tank and much more! Public Notice
Advisory: 100 Block of East Federal will be blocked by barricades and police officers will be posted to strictly regulate and monitor activity due to recent gunfire incidents in the past 48 hours. Times of this effort will vary and will not be publicly announced in addition to other enforcement efforts. Residents will not have restricted travel or parking, but police officers will inquire and closely monitor activities. Please note that innocent civilians had their vehicles and homes damaged by gunfire and police officers were met last evening with active gunfire, along with one person being struck. This was the second gunfire incident in the past 48 hours on the 100 Block of East Federal Street. A formal News Release will be posted shortly. Due the seriousness of this incident, the City of Burlington Police Department will be acting swiftly to mitigate concerns. NEWS RELEASE September 27, 2021 BCPD Investigating Potential Bomb Threat The City of Burlington Police Department is investigating a potential bomb threat at the Amazon Warehouse, located at 1101 East Pearl Street, Burlington City. At approximately 6:42 a.m. this date, Central Communications received a 9-1-1 call reporting a potential bomb threat at the Amazon Warehouse. Officers from the City of Burlington Police Department, as well as several other agencies are on location at this time. All employees have been evacuated and this investigation is ongoing. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
