Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
City Boardwalk: Saturday, September 20
The next City Boardwalk hosted by State Street Events will be taking place on Saturday, September 20. Please be aware there will be road closures and no parking in effect in the area of the event.

FREE Rabies Clinic for Dogs and Cats: Saturday, January 18
Mark your calendars! We are hosting a FREE rabies clinic on January 18 from 1:15pm-2:15pm. This will be a drive thru clinic so please enter through the Kennedy Park entrance and remain in your vehicle. To help make the check in process faster and smoother, we kindly ask those who plan to attend the rabies clinic to complete the preregistration form below. City of Burlington Holiday Extravaganza: Saturday, December 7
The City of Burlington Holiday Extravaganza kicks off at 1PM on the downtown Promenade with the Annual Holiday Village. Line up for the Holiday Parade will be from 3:45 - 4:45PM with the Parade starting promptly at 5:00PM followed by the Tree Lighting.
Senior Line Dancing Classes

At this time, there is no impact to the outside source water of the City's Water Treatment Plant. The FBI Philadelphia Field Office is again warning the public to be on alert for a phone scam that spoofs, or fakes, the FBI’s name and real telephone number on the recipient’s caller ID. Recently, a scammer has targeted South Jersey residents, claiming to be with the FBI’s South Jersey Resident Agency in Cherry Hill. Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero Game: June 26
The City of Burlington Police Department is proud to congratulate Officer Najah Pruden on being recognized as our 2025 Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero. Officer Pruden began his career with the City of Burlington Police Department in 2019 as a full-time police officer. In July 2024, he expanded his role by joining the SWAT team, where he responds to high-risk situations and helps ensure the safety of our community. A Burlington native, Officer Pruden takes great pride in giving back to the city he calls home. He volunteers as a youth basketball coach and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. We invite you to join us in honoring Officer Pruden and the rest of this year’s Hometown Heroes on Thursday, June 26 at Trenton Thunder Ballpark.
