Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

Wood Street Fair: Saturday, September 6
Colonial Burlington will once again be hosting "The Wood Street Fair" on Saturday, September 6. Please be aware that there will be road closures and no parking in the area of the fair.

National Night Out: August 5
National Night Out is back for 2025! Join us on the Burlington City Waterfront Promenade on Tuesday, August 5 from 6pm-9pm for a fun filled evening celebrating community. This is a FREE event open to all!
Senior Line Dancing Classes

The City of Burlington Water Department is Monitoring Water Quality After a Recent Chemical Spill in the Delaware River; Water is Safe to Use at This Time The City's Water Department is monitoring the water quality of the Delaware River following a chemical release that recently occurred from a manufacturing plant into a tributary of the River in Bristol, PA. The Water Department is maintaining regular communication with State and Federal agencies regarding the situation. At this time, there is no impact to the outside source water of the City's Water Treatment Plant. We will continue to monitor the source water and provide updates if we receive additional information or there are any developments. The health and safety of our residents is our top priority. 🚨 FBI Warns Scam is Targeting South Jersey Residents 🚨
The FBI Philadelphia Field Office is again warning the public to be on alert for a phone scam that spoofs, or fakes, the FBI’s name and real telephone number on the recipient’s caller ID. Recently, a scammer has targeted South Jersey residents, claiming to be with the FBI’s South Jersey Resident Agency in Cherry Hill. Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero Game: June 26
The City of Burlington Police Department is proud to congratulate Officer Najah Pruden on being recognized as our 2025 Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero. Officer Pruden began his career with the City of Burlington Police Department in 2019 as a full-time police officer. In July 2024, he expanded his role by joining the SWAT team, where he responds to high-risk situations and helps ensure the safety of our community. A Burlington native, Officer Pruden takes great pride in giving back to the city he calls home. He volunteers as a youth basketball coach and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. We invite you to join us in honoring Officer Pruden and the rest of this year’s Hometown Heroes on Thursday, June 26 at Trenton Thunder Ballpark. 🚧 ROAD CLOSURES: APRIL 26
The Burlington City Boardwalk Street Festival is kicking off Saturday, April 26 from 12 PM – 5 PM on High Street and the Promenade. It is going to be a blast with food vendors, crafters, live music, and a fun kids' zone! There will be road closures and no parking zones in parts of downtown between 7 AM and 6 PM to keep everyone safe during the event.
