Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

No Parking / Upcoming Road Maintenance
**** ATTENTION **** On Tuesday, June 13th there will be NO PARKING on Locust Avenue (both sides) from West Federal to Broad Street between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. On Thursday, June 15th there will be NO PARKING on Broad Street, from Keim Boulevard to High Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. Please plan accordingly. News Release – Welcome K9 Sully (Therapy and Emotional Support K9)
NEWS RELEASE April 7, 2022 BCPD K-9 Unit Opens Another Chapter in Community Policing Burlington, NJ - City of Burlington School District Superintendent Dr. John Russell and Chief John Fine proudly announce the arrival and implementation of K-9 Sully, a Therapy and Emotional Support Dog, who will be assigned to the School District to assist students and staff within the district. The effort began in coordination with Jacquelene O’Brien, Director of Child Study Team and Pupil Personnel Services, acknowledging a need to support several students in the school district while overcoming numerous obstacles to include the COVID-19 Pandemic and getting adapted back to in person learning. Director O’Brien said, “Through observing community policing, I have witnessed the positive impact police dogs have on the communities in which they serve. Knowing the effects animals have on promoting social interaction and the tremendous benefits of animal therapy, I just knew that K9 Sully would be the perfect fit in the Burlington City School District. The students at Samuel Smith School had a very special visitor!! Det. Corporal Czajka and K9 Zero stopped by to see the students as they learned about having a pet and different types of working dogs. Everyone loves K9 Zero!!

Congratulations K9 Dutch
Congratulations to Officer Zeuner and K9 Dutch on successfully completing Philadelphia Police Canine Patrol Class 125. K9 Dutch was adopted from the Burlington County Animal Shelter less than a year ago and is now the newest member of the City of Burlington Police Department's K9 Unit. Congratulations!!
