We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

PRESS RELEASE – 4/21/23
On Friday, March 31, 2023 at approximately 4:50pm the City of Burlington Police Department was dispatched to the unit block of East Federal St. for a disturbance. The first arriving officer was met with a group of 20-30 subjects. The scene was extremely chaotic with numerous subjects arguing and several individuals running from the area. Additional officers were called to the scene to assist de-escalating and dispersing the crowd. Following the incident an investigation was started by the department's criminal investigation unit. As a result, the following individuals were charged: - Terry Fisher, age 29 of Burlington City, NJ Riot, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, Certain Person Not to Possess a Weapon, Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct. Youth Police Academy 2023!
The City of Burlington Police Department and the Edgewater Park Township Police Department are now accepting applications for our joint Youth Police Academy 2023. Applications may be picked up at either department or by clicking the link below. PRESS RELEASE – 4/6/23 – Fatal Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Crash
On April 1, 2023 at approximately 7:45 PM, the City of Burlington Police Department responded to the area of Route 130 South and Uhler Ave. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was transported to the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office. The victim was later identified as Jeremiah McCarthy, age 70 of Burlington Twp., New Jersey. The driver, a 70 year old male from Burlington Twp., New Jersey was not injured and remained on location. This case is currently being investigated by the City of Burlington Police Department, Traffic Unit and Criminal Investigation Division.
