Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
CARES (Center for Addiction, Recovery, Education, and Success) – Upcoming Events!

Rest in Peace Lorraine Lowden
The City of Burlington Police Department is saddened to hear of the passing of Lorraine Lowden. Lorraine retired from Burlington City Police Department after 25 years of dedicated service. During her time here she worked first as a meter maid, then moved inside to dispatch, and finally, as a records clerk. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lorraine's family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Lorraine A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E Union St., Burlington, NJ on Friday, March 31 from 5pm to 8pm. In addition, a viewing will be held at St. Paul Church, 223 E Union St, Burlington, NJ from 9:30am to 10:30am with a mass of Christian burial at 11am. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. **UPDATE** Burlington City water continues to be safe to drink and use. No contaminants detected. Monitoring to continue. The City of Burlington Water Department is Monitoring Water Quality After a Recent Chemical Spill in the Delaware River; Water is Safe to Use at This Time The City's Water Department is monitoring the water quality of the Delaware River following a chemical release that recently occurred from a manufacturing plant into a tributary of the River in Bristol, PA. The Water Department is maintaining regular communication with State and Federal agencies regarding the situation. At this time, there is no impact to the outside source water of the City's Water Treatment Plant. We will continue to monitor the source water and provide updates if we receive additional information or there are any developments. The health and safety of our residents is our top priority. National Night Out 2021

Welcome Reserve Officer Kahya!
The City of Burlington Police Department is proud to welcome Class I Officer Seray Kahya to our Reserve Unit! Reserve Officer Kahya graduated from the Cape May County Police Academy and was previously employed as a Class I Officer in Ocean City. Welcome to the BCPD!
Straight to Treatment Outreach
The City of Burlington Police along with the following agencies: Burlington County Prosecutors Office, NJ Transit Police, Mt. Holly Police, Solstice, Volunteers of America, Kings Crusade, Oaks Integrated and Marryville are currently doing an outreach at 30 West Broad St. Prosecutor Coffina riding the train spreading the word of the resources we offer.
