The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

Help Volunteers of America provide the bare necessities so their clients can focus on the next step in their journey to an independent life. Donations of new, unopened underwear can be dropped off at Third State Brewing in Burlington City or one of the other sites listed. Thank you!

PRESS RELEASE February 1, 2023 On Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 12:39pm, Burlington City Police Patrols were dispatched to 100 Blue Devil Way at the Burlington City High School for a trespassing complaint. A Burlington City Police Department School Resource Officer at the school reported that an unknown subject gained entry into school and was discovered by a faculty member. When he was approached, the subject fled the school into a wooded area near James St. Responding officers quickly established a perimeter where the trespasser was last seen and obtained additional information from school officials. The Burlington City High School and St. Paul’s Parochial School issued a “shelter in place” for both facilities while officers continued their investigation. A Police K9 Unit was requested from New Hanover Police Department along with the Burlington City Police Department’s Unmanned Aircraft System.
