The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

PRESS RELEASE – Update
Wednesday, September 28, 2022 On Saturday, September 17, 2022 at approximately 10:00 pm a Burlington City Police patrol officer was in the area of East Broad St and Saint Mary St. when he heard numerous gunshots coming from the New Yorkshire neighborhood. The investigation revealed that two (2) people were struck with gunfire along with numerous homes and cars. The City of Burlington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the subjects depicted in the following video clips (second clip in comments). REMINDER ALL DOGS ARE PROHIBITED FROM RUNNING AT LARGE! Dogs MUST be on a leash and under owners control at all times. Pet owners who allow their dogs to roam free are not only violating a City ordinance, but are also putting their pet’s safety at risk. Regardless of how friendly or obedient you feel your dog is, they may be frightening to others, especially young children.
