Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

VETERAN’S EXPO – Tuesday, October 11th
Sheriff Anthony Basantis and Undersheriff James Kostoplis are inviting all Veterans and their families to this year’s Vet Expo!! Veterans and their families will have the opportunity to learn about the many available programs, support services, and benefits that are available to them during the upcoming Burlington County Veterans Expo. The free event is organized by the Burlington County Sheriff's Department in partnership with the Burlington County Commissioners, and the Burlington County Department of Human Services that houses the Division of Military and Veterans Affairs. This year’s event will be held Oct. 11 from 5 PM to 8 PM in the Student Success Center at Rowan College at Burlington County, 1500 College Circle, Mount Laurel. Nearly 40 agencies, nonprofits and vendors are expected to participate in this year’s expo, making it one of the largest events of its kind in South Jersey.

PRESS RELEASE – Update
Wednesday, September 28, 2022 On Saturday, September 17, 2022 at approximately 10:00 pm a Burlington City Police patrol officer was in the area of East Broad St and Saint Mary St. when he heard numerous gunshots coming from the New Yorkshire neighborhood. The investigation revealed that two (2) people were struck with gunfire along with numerous homes and cars. The City of Burlington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the subjects depicted in the following video clips (second clip in comments).
