Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

Each Thursday we will be posting a “Throwback” photo of Officers throwback and current cards. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Captain Elbertson to collect his card! The first child that comes to Police Headquarters at 525 High Street with the complete card set containing all 43 cards, will be gifted a new bicycle of their choice from Burlington County Bikes donated by the members of Lodge #63! NEWS RELEASE Thursday, June 30, 2022 On Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at approximately 11:28 am, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to Rte. 130 at Dollar General for a shoplifting complaint. The caller indicated that an individual stole an unreported amount of seafood and fled in a vehicle. Several minutes later a Burlington Twp. police officer observed the suspect operating a vehicle on Sunset Rd. Officers responded to the area and attempted to stop the vehicle on Millennium Dr. in Willingboro. The driver entered a private parking lot and began making erratic turns in an attempt to elude the officers. Unable to exit the parking lot the suspect exited his vehicle, took a fighting stance and engaged the officers. As one officer attempted to place him in custody the suspect punched the officer in the face. Officers continued to attempt to arrest him, however he continued fighting, punching two additional officers in the face. After several minutes the officers were able to place the suspect in custody.
