It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
Arrest Made in Burlington City Fatal Shooting
CITY OF BURLINGTON – Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and City of Burlington Police Chief John Fine announced that a 35-year-old city resident has been charged with killing a Willingboro man as he was sitting in a parked car on Linden Avenue earlier this week. Bryant Williams, of the first block of East Federal Street, was charged with Murder (First Degree), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Second Degree) and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (Second Degree). Williams was apprehended last night just before 8 p.m. by City of Burlington patrol officers who observed him walking in the area of East Broad and Lawrence streets. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly pending a detention hearing in Superior Court next week. The criminal complaint charging Williams was authorized less than 24 hours after the homicide occurred. The motive is still being investigated. PRESS RELEASE Friday, April 22, 2022 Over the past 48 hours the Burlington City Police Department has responded to two (2) shooting incidents in the New Yorkshire neighborhood of Burlington City. On Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at approximately 7:49PM patrols were dispatched to the 100 block of East Federal St. for a report of approximately five (5) gunshots. Upon arriving in the area patrols received information that two (2) vehicles fled the area at a high rate of speed and were possibly involved. No person(s) were injured during the incident. On Thursday, April 21, 2022 at approximately 8:20PM two (2) patrols were conducting a direct patrol in the New Yorkshire neighborhood when they heard up to thirteen (13) gunshots coming from the 100 block of East Federal St. Patrols responded and arrived prior to any 911 calls being made. First arriving patrols reported a large crowd running in different directions and numerous subjects still actively engaged in firing weapons as they fled. Public Notice
Advisory: 100 Block of East Federal will be blocked by barricades and police officers will be posted to strictly regulate and monitor activity due to recent gunfire incidents in the past 48 hours. Times of this effort will vary and will not be publicly announced in addition to other enforcement efforts. Residents will not have restricted travel or parking, but police officers will inquire and closely monitor activities. Please note that innocent civilians had their vehicles and homes damaged by gunfire and police officers were met last evening with active gunfire, along with one person being struck. This was the second gunfire incident in the past 48 hours on the 100 Block of East Federal Street. A formal News Release will be posted shortly. Due the seriousness of this incident, the City of Burlington Police Department will be acting swiftly to mitigate concerns.
