Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

Fallen Officer’s Memorial Reveal
Monday, November 22nd marks the 114th anniversary of the death of Officer George Gusrang, the first Officer killed in the City of Burlington Police Department's history. Our Honor Guard will be hosting a Fallen Officer's Memorial Reveal at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall (Belmont Street entrance at the flag pole). We will also be honoring the ultimate sacrifice of Officer Thomas Rogan, who was killed in the line of duty on July 4, 1914. All are welcome to attend.

Did you know...? Beginning today, November 4, 2021, food service businesses will only provide a single-use plastic straw to customers UPON REQUEST by the customer. Stores may continue to sell packages of single-use plastic straws and provide/sell a beverage pre-packaged by the manufacturer with a single-use plastic straw, i.e., juice boxes. Happy Halloween Safety Tips
The City of Burlington Police Department would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Halloween! With that being said, PLEASE REMEMBER THE JUVENILE CURFEW IS 10:00 P.M. AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Please check out some safety tips below: Practice hand hygiene by handwashing or hand sanitizer Trick-or-treat in well-known neighborhoods. Accept treats only at the front door. Never enter the home of a stranger. Carry glow sticks or flashlights, use reflective tape or stickers on costumes and bags, and wear light colors to help kids see and be seen by drivers. Approach only homes that have their front porch light on. Join kids under age 12 for trick-or-treating. Remind kids to cross the street at corners or crosswalks. Put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to the left as possible.
