Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

Did you know...? Beginning today, November 4, 2021, food service businesses will only provide a single-use plastic straw to customers UPON REQUEST by the customer. Stores may continue to sell packages of single-use plastic straws and provide/sell a beverage pre-packaged by the manufacturer with a single-use plastic straw, i.e., juice boxes. Happy Halloween Safety Tips
The City of Burlington Police Department would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Halloween! With that being said, PLEASE REMEMBER THE JUVENILE CURFEW IS 10:00 P.M. AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Please check out some safety tips below: Practice hand hygiene by handwashing or hand sanitizer Trick-or-treat in well-known neighborhoods. Accept treats only at the front door. Never enter the home of a stranger. Carry glow sticks or flashlights, use reflective tape or stickers on costumes and bags, and wear light colors to help kids see and be seen by drivers. Approach only homes that have their front porch light on. Join kids under age 12 for trick-or-treating. Remind kids to cross the street at corners or crosswalks. Put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to the left as possible. PRESS RELEASE - October 21, 2021 On Thursday, October 7, 2021 at approximately 5:00PM, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to the Burlington City police station for a domestic violence complaint. During the course of the investigation, Adam Calderone, age 24 of Burlington City became aggressive toward officers and threatened to commit suicide. Officers determined that Calderone was a physical threat to both himself and others and attempted to have him seen at a mental health screening center at Virtua Hospital, Willingboro. At his time Calderone fled on foot and officers attempted to stop him. After a brief foot pursuit officers attempted to place Calderone into protective custody, however he physically fought and attempted to assault the officers. During this resistance and attack an officer fell to the ground and was injured. The officer suffered a serious neck injury and is still being treated. Calderone was subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Administration of Law, and Disorderly Conduct.
