On Sunday, January 21, 2024 at approximately 2:00 pm, Burlington City Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the 300 block of York Street for a reported structure fire. Upon their arrival, units were faced with a working fire in an attached dwelling which required the assistance of numerous mutual aid first responders.
There were no injuries reported, however three homes sustained significant damage. As a result of the fire three families were displaced and were provided assistance by the American Red Cross and Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.
This incident is still under investigation, however the cause is not believed to be suspicious in nature.
