On Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at approximately 5:53 p.m., Burlington City Police Patrols were dispatched to the 200 Block of Barclay Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located one gunshot victim, a 33-year-old male
Burlington City resident. The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
Initial investigation revealed that the shooting potentially stemmed from a dispute earlier in the day and this incident was not a random act of violence. Detectives are still working on the details that led up to the shooting.
