The City of Burlington Water Department is Monitoring Water Quality After a Recent Chemical Spill in the Delaware River; Water is Safe to Use at This Time
The City’s Water Department is monitoring the water quality of the Delaware River following a chemical release that recently occurred from a manufacturing plant into a tributary of the River in Bristol, PA. The Water Department is maintaining regular communication with State and Federal agencies regarding the situation. At this time, there is no impact to the outside source water of the City’s Water Treatment Plant. We will continue to monitor the source water and provide updates if we receive additional information or there are any developments. The health and safety of our residents is our top priority.
At this time, you may continue to use your water, and there is no need for you as a customer to do anything further. If that changes you will be notified via this website and other media.
