Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.
Accreditation On-Site Assessment
Thank You to New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Accreditation Assessors Chief Frank LoSacco and Lieutenant Brian Boucher who assisted the City of Burlington Police Department with the Accreditation on-site assessment yesterday. A special thanks to the community and our fellow law enforcement members for showing their support during the on-site assessment. Also, thank you to our Accreditation Manager Lieutenant Michael Ekelburg and Matthew Wiesniewski for their hard work with this process.
PRESS RELEASE – 3/21/24
On Thursday, March 21, 2024 at approximately 3:44AM, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to Mitchell Court for a report of two (2) subjects breaking into motor vehicles. As patrols arrived, they observed a vehicle leaving Mitchell Court onto Mitchell Ave at a high rate of speed. Officers made an attempt to catch up to the vehicle as it continued at a high rate of speed and eventually crashed into a fence in the 500 block of High St. Two (2) occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers pursued both individuals and were able to apprehend them after a brief pursuit. Further investigation revealed that the subjects broke into a total of four (4) vehicles in Burlington City. One (1) of the vehicles was stolen from a residence on Bordentown Rd., but was abandoned when it became disabled on Mitchell Ave. In addition, the vehicle that was used to flee the area was previously reported stolen in Philadelphia, PA. Human trafficking victims are in everyday locations like bars, hotels, and transportation centers. These posters could be a lifeline for victims of human trafficking. BCPD Blue Devil Police Vehicle!
Today, in partnership with The City of Burlington School District, we unveiled one of two new BCPD Blue Devil police vehicles! These vehicles are the latest example of our ongoing collaboration with the City of Burlington School District and will support mutual police and District goals. Thank you to everyone who came out for the big reveal, including Police, District staff and Buddy the Blue Devil, of course! #cityproud
