PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT for John F. Kennedy Park Improvement Project, Jakes’ Law Inclusive Playground, to be held at City Hall, Tue., Feb. 6, at 7 pm
 
The City of Burlington is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program for improvements at John F. Kennedy Park, located at 560 Wood Street, Burlington City, NJ 08016, near the intersection of Wood Street and Route 130 South.
 
The City of Burlington proposes to create the following new facilities at John F. Kennedy Park: an inclusive Jake’s Law Playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: https://www.burlingtonnj.us/newsdetail_T3_R1680.php.
 
The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held in person as part of the regularly scheduled Common Council meeting scheduled to be held at Burlington City Hall, 525 High Street, Burlington, NJ 08016.
