Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

2024 Youth Police Academy
We are now accepting applications for the City of Burlington and Edgewater Park Township Police Department's Youth Police Academy. Applications are available for pick up at both Edgewater Park Township Police Department and Burlington City Police Department. All completed applications must be received by May 24, 2024. PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT for John F. Kennedy Park Improvement Project, Jakes’ Law Inclusive Playground, to be held at City Hall, Tue., Feb. 6, at 7 pm The City of Burlington is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program for improvements at John F. Kennedy Park, located at 560 Wood Street, Burlington City, NJ 08016, near the intersection of Wood Street and Route 130 South. The City of Burlington proposes to create the following new facilities at John F. Kennedy Park: an inclusive Jake’s Law Playground.
