Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

Check out this awesome event happening tomorrow, Saturday, December 9th from 12:00 to 3:30pm at the Burlington County Animal Shelter. There will be bake sale items, gift bags and of course, pictures with Santa! There are so many fur babies that are in need of a loving home right now and Adoption fees are being waived! National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
Every December 7th, Americans remember and honor the 2,403 service members and civilians who died and 1,178 injured during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The attack sank the USS Arizona and USS Utah battleships and nearly 200 aircraft. Holiday Parade and a Message from Chief Fine
Tremendous event and parade tonight! Thank you to all officers who worked the event and our dedicated officers who walked in the parade with their families showing our BCPD Family! Thank you for our special guests who walked with us! Sheriff Kostpolis, Undersheriff Carr, and Retired BCPD Chief John Lazzarotti accompanied the police department down High Street. NJ State FOP Labor Council Representative Sean Lavin escorted our department with the Trenton AOH Pipe Band. Thank you for our great partnership and welcome back Chief Laz! Leading the parade was our Reserve Sergeant Snyder with our BCPD Patrol Vehicle, Burlington County Sheriffs Dept, and Burlington Township Police Department. The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office will be hosting a presentation on how to secure and protect your facilities, and also discuss available grant money to assist with doing so. The program, "Active Shooter Awareness," will be presented by officials from the FBI Newark Division and the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. VETERAN’S EXPO – Tuesday, October 11th
Sheriff Anthony Basantis and Undersheriff James Kostoplis are inviting all Veterans and their families to this year’s Vet Expo!! Veterans and their families will have the opportunity to learn about the many available programs, support services, and benefits that are available to them during the upcoming Burlington County Veterans Expo. The free event is organized by the Burlington County Sheriff's Department in partnership with the Burlington County Commissioners, and the Burlington County Department of Human Services that houses the Division of Military and Veterans Affairs. This year’s event will be held Oct. 11 from 5 PM to 8 PM in the Student Success Center at Rowan College at Burlington County, 1500 College Circle, Mount Laurel. Nearly 40 agencies, nonprofits and vendors are expected to participate in this year’s expo, making it one of the largest events of its kind in South Jersey.
