We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
PRESS RELEASE – UPDATE
Wednesday, December 13, 2023 On Monday, October 30, 2023 at approximately 7:19pm, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to 919 Rte 130 at Dollar General for a robbery complaint. Upon their arrival, officers met with the store manager who stated four individuals entered the store and began shoplifting various items. As the suspects started to exit the store he met them at the door to confront them. Three of the suspects began assaulting the manager by punching and kicking him until he was knocked to the ground. The suspects fled the store on foot and were last seen running toward Uhler Ave. On Friday, November 17, 2023 a 16 year old juvenile was taken into custody as a result of this investigation. The juvenile was charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Shoplifting. He was transported to and detained at the Middlesex County Detention Facility. The City of Burlington Police Department Criminal Investigation Division continues to actively investigate this incident. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Det. Passing of Detective Frederick (Fred) Janson, (Retired)
The City of Burlington Police is saddened to announce the passing of Detective Frederick (Fred) Janson, Badge 9026 (Ret.). Detective Janson retired from BCPD in 1997. There are a handful of BCPD police officers who become so popular in town, they are household names during and after their career. Detective Fred Janson’s name is legendary within our agency and our community. Our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Det. Janson. A tremendous investigator who served with honor.
