Wednesday, December 13, 2023   On Monday, October 30, 2023 at approximately 7:19pm, Burlington City Police patrols were dispatched to 919 Rte 130 at Dollar General for a robbery complaint. Upon their arrival, officers met with the store manager who stated four individuals entered the store and began shoplifting various items. As the suspects started to exit the store he met them at the door to confront them. Three of the suspects began assaulting the manager by punching and kicking him until he was knocked to the ground. The suspects fled the store on foot and were last seen running toward Uhler Ave.   On Friday, November 17, 2023 a 16 year old juvenile was taken into custody as a result of this investigation. The juvenile was charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Shoplifting. He was transported to and detained at the Middlesex County Detention Facility.   The City of Burlington Police Department Criminal Investigation Division continues to actively investigate this incident.
