The City of Burlington Police is saddened to announce the passing of Detective Frederick (Fred) Janson, Badge 9026 (Ret.). Detective Janson retired from BCPD in 1997.
There are a handful of BCPD police officers who become so popular in town, they are household names during and after their career. Detective Fred Janson’s name is legendary within our agency and our community.
