Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
Holiday Parade and a Message from Chief Fine
Tremendous event and parade tonight! Thank you to all officers who worked the event and our dedicated officers who walked in the parade with their families showing our BCPD Family! Thank you for our special guests who walked with us! Sheriff Kostpolis, Undersheriff Carr, and Retired BCPD Chief John Lazzarotti accompanied the police department down High Street. NJ State FOP Labor Council Representative Sean Lavin escorted our department with the Trenton AOH Pipe Band. Thank you for our great partnership and welcome back Chief Laz! Leading the parade was our Reserve Sergeant Snyder with our BCPD Patrol Vehicle, Burlington County Sheriffs Dept, and Burlington Township Police Department. Juneteenth Freedom Day
In celebration of Juneteenth the City of Burlington Police Department would like to highlight some significant historical facts. By 1790, Burlington County had the largest free Black population of any county in the state, according to the Library of Congress. “This can be attributed to its location in the Delaware Valley, known as the ‘cradle of emancipation,’ where slaves were freed on a large scale,” it said. “The sizeable presence and influence in the valley of Quakers, America's first organized group to speak out against the evils of bondage, enabled this region to be the pacesetter regarding black emancipation.” Once called Wheatley’s Burlington Pharmacy, this building was a Quaker-owned building used to harbor runaway slaves and the site of anti-slavery rallies. Located at 301 High St. in Burlington City, it is also the oldest pharmacy in continuous operation in the state. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2023 Mark your calendars for the City of Burlington Police Department's National Night Out Event on Tuesday, August 1st 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the waterfront promenade. Burlington County Sheriff’s Department – Senior Citizen Police Academy
Sheriff Basantis and Undersheriff Kostoplis are excited to announce the Burlington County Sheriff's Department upcoming Senior Citizen Police Academy!! Some of the topics discussed will be: consumer fraud, narcotics awareness, CPR/First Aid, personal safety, fire safety, home security, K-9 Demo, and much more!! Classes will be held 7 consecutive Thursdays beginning September 15, 2022 to October 27, 2022. The duration of each class will be from 1 pm to 3 pm, and they will take place at the Mount Laurel Senior Center, 100 Mt. Laurel Road, Mt. Laurel 08054. National Health Center Week 2022 – FREE FESTIVAL

National Night Out 2022
We would like to thank everyone that came out for our National Night Out last night on the waterfront.
