Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

Passing of Detective Frederick (Fred) Janson, (Retired)
The City of Burlington Police is saddened to announce the passing of Detective Frederick (Fred) Janson, Badge 9026 (Ret.). Detective Janson retired from BCPD in 1997. There are a handful of BCPD police officers who become so popular in town, they are household names during and after their career. Detective Fred Janson’s name is legendary within our agency and our community. Our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Det. Janson. A tremendous investigator who served with honor. Check out this awesome event happening tomorrow, Saturday, December 9th from 12:00 to 3:30pm at the Burlington County Animal Shelter. There will be bake sale items, gift bags and of course, pictures with Santa! There are so many fur babies that are in need of a loving home right now and Adoption fees are being waived! National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
Every December 7th, Americans remember and honor the 2,403 service members and civilians who died and 1,178 injured during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The attack sank the USS Arizona and USS Utah battleships and nearly 200 aircraft. No Parking Notice for Road Maintenance
**** ATTENTION **** On Tuesday, June 20th there will be NO PARKING on East Broad Street from High Street to Earl Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. On Thursday, June 22nd there will be NO PARKING on High Street, from East Federal Street to Broad Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. School Supply Collection Drive – Tuesday, 8/30
HAPPENING TOMORROW!! Please join the City of Burlington Education Association in their School Supply Collection Drive, tomorrow, August 30th from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Niagra Fire House Parking Lot (Rte. 130 North and High Street). Let's help "Stuff the Bus" with supplies to ensure all children in the community have the supplies they need.
