Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.

Holiday Parade and Village: Saturday, December 6
Join the 2025 Burlington City Holiday Parade! We’re inviting schools, businesses, community groups, and organizations to take part in this year’s Burlington City Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3:00 PM (rain date: Sunday, December 7, 2025). Followed by our Holiday Village with State Street Events LLC from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM along the riverfront — featuring music, photos with Santa, kids’ crafts, vendors and lots of holiday fun! Please note: The parade time has been adjusted this year to better coordinate with the Holiday Village, allowing everyone to head right to the waterfront for the evening festivities once the parade concludes. Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive: Saturday, November 22
Please join us on Saturday, November 22nd from 2PM to 6PM for the Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive. Toys will be distributed through the Mayor's Giving Tree and to other organizations helping children in need this holiday season. See flyer below for details and contact information.
Burlington City Outreach Event: Thursday, November 20
On Thursday, November 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 p.m. there will be numerous agencies and resources available at the Burlington Towne Centre River Line Station on West Broad Street in Burlington City. Check out the flyer for more details!
Veteran’s Day Parade: Tuesday, November 11
Join us for Burlington City’s Veterans Day Parade! The parade will step off at 10AM on Tuesday, November 11, beginning at High & W. Pearl Streets, traveling up High Street, and concluding at Memorial Hall with a ceremony honoring our veterans. Let’s come together to show our gratitude and support for those who have served! National Night Out: August 5
National Night Out is back for 2025! Join us on the Burlington City Waterfront Promenade on Tuesday, August 5 from 6pm-9pm for a fun filled evening celebrating community. This is a FREE event open to all!
Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero Game: June 26
The City of Burlington Police Department is proud to congratulate Officer Najah Pruden on being recognized as our 2025 Trenton Thunder Hometown Hero. Officer Pruden began his career with the City of Burlington Police Department in 2019 as a full-time police officer. In July 2024, he expanded his role by joining the SWAT team, where he responds to high-risk situations and helps ensure the safety of our community. A Burlington native, Officer Pruden takes great pride in giving back to the city he calls home. He volunteers as a youth basketball coach and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. We invite you to join us in honoring Officer Pruden and the rest of this year’s Hometown Heroes on Thursday, June 26 at Trenton Thunder Ballpark. Nationwide Emergency Alert **TEST** Today @ 2:20 p.m.

Upcoming Road Maintenance ( 5/10 and 5/11)
**** ATTENTION **** On Wednesday, 5/10/23 there will be NO PARKING on St. Mary Street from Broad Street to Federal Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. On Thursday, 5/11/23 there will be NO PARKING on York Street from Broad Street to Federal Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to road maintenance. Please plan accordingly. Trunk or Treat: Saturday, October 18
We are once again partnering with Pearl Pointe Apartments to host a Trunk or Treat on the Burlington City Waterfront on Saturday, October 18, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. Setup will begin at 3:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for details. K9 Car Show: Saturday, October 4
On Saturday, October 4, 2025 our K9 Unit will be hosting the annually K9 Car Show in our downtown.
City Boardwalk: Saturday, September 20
The next City Boardwalk hosted by State Street Events will be taking place on Saturday, September 20. Please be aware there will be road closures and no parking in effect in the area of the event.
