The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.
Joint Narcotics Investigation Results in Arrest and Seizure in Burlington City
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 31, 2024 Joint Narcotics Investigation Results in Arrest and Seizure in Burlington City Burlington City, NJ – On July 31, 2024, a joint operation between the Willingboro Township Police Department and the Burlington City Police Department resulted in the successful execution of a search warrant at a residence located in the 600 block of Bordentown Road, Burlington City. This operation was part of an extensive narcotics investigation aimed at combating illegal drug activity in the area. Arrest and Charges: The investigation led to the arrest of Rashon Fryar, age 32, who has been charged and is currently lodged in the Burlington County Jail. The charges against Fryar are as follows: •Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) – Cocaine •Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) – Cocaine •Possession of Drug Paraphernalia •Unlawful Possession of a Weapon – Handgun •Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons •Endangering Another Person Additionally, an adult female was placed in custody for an active warrant. As always, this is a FREE EVENT for all. We will have food, music, school supply/backpack giveaway, facepainting, emergency vehicles on display, dunk tank and much more! Recent Attempted Vehicle Break-ins / Thefts
Recently, there has been an increase in stolen cars, break-ins and thefts from vehicles in the City of Burlington. Please remember to: - Lock your doors and close all windows - Remove all valuables - Never leave your vehicle running unattended - Do not leave your keys or key fob in your vehicle - Do not leave change in your center console If you see something, say something! Suspicious activity may be reported by calling 609-386-3300 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
