Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
Outdoor Family Movie Night
The next Outdoor Family Movie Night will be held Tuesday, August 29th at 8pm at the Smith School Softball Field. Snacks will be available at no charge. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BLANKETS AND CHAIRS. We hope to see you all there!
📣 NJ TRANSIT ANNOUNCEMENT – RIVERLINE SERVICE 📣
River LINE service will temporarily operate on the Sunday/Holiday schedule, every 30 minutes during peak hours until further notice. An Announcement from NJ Transit: Due to continued operational challenges, River LINE weekday service will temporarily operate every 30 minutes throughout the service day. The impact of this temporary adjustment is limited to weekday peak hour frequency, as the River LINE’s regular weekday schedule operates every 30 minutes outside of peak periods. Saturday service will also operate on the Sunday/Holiday schedule. As a result, all River LINE service will temporarily operate on the Sunday/Holiday schedule, which can be found on NJ Transit page at https://content.njtransit.com/.../pdfs/light-rail/T0343.pdf. On days when there are concerts at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, extra trains will provide service to Route 73 post-concert, with bus service provided from Route 73 to Trenton Transit Center. Burlington County Sheriff’s Department partnering with Burlington City Police to distribute toys, household goods

The new partnership kicked off Friday when the Sheriff’s Department delivered a large batch of new toys and household goods to Burlington City Police headquarters. The local force plans to distribute the toys and items to local children and families in need. The toys and goods are donated to the Sheriff’s Department’s Community Services Unit by individuals and businesses. Fallen Officer’s Memorial Reveal
Monday, November 22nd marks the 114th anniversary of the death of Officer George Gusrang, the first Officer killed in the City of Burlington Police Department's history. Our Honor Guard will be hosting a Fallen Officer's Memorial Reveal at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall (Belmont Street entrance at the flag pole). We will also be honoring the ultimate sacrifice of Officer Thomas Rogan, who was killed in the line of duty on July 4, 1914. All are welcome to attend.
Intellectual Disability Registration Event
Officers from the BCPD, along with Criminal Justice Students from RCBC will have registration for individuals with Autism/Intellectual disabilities on Monday, November 22nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the City of Burlington, 525 High Street, Burlington, New Jersey 08016.
