Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Burlington County Recovery Center
The Recovery Center serves as a “one-stop” destination where individuals can be paired with a recovery peer, and obtain information about treatment programs, recovery support services and community resources. Wellness activities and classes, and recovery groups are also scheduled and held here.
Backpack and School Supply Giveaway – 8/19
A Message from Senator Troy Singleton's Office: On Saturday August 19th from 10am-12pm at the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center in Westampton we are giving away backpacks and school supplies! Event is first come, first served while supplies last. See below for details! If you’d like to donate items, you can drop them off at our office by Tues Aug 15th!
Cruzin on the River – Thursday, 8/17
Please join us for Cruzin on the River, featuring the sounds of Random Notes as well as great food-truck food and shopping. It all starts at 6 pm on Thursday, Aug. 17, on Historic Burlington's Riverfront Promenade. We hope to see you all there!

Coach O’s Youth Camp
BCPD was honored to support our local youth during last week’s “Coach O’s Camp” through the Opportunity League and partners. BCPD paid registrations for youth from Burlington City and Edgewater Park Twp to attend the camp and Youth Summer League that finished two weeks ago. Sgt. Robert O’Brien, Ptl. Najah Pruden, and SRO Earl McQuarry attended the camp and helped with instruction and youth interaction. Thank you for your efforts! Thank you to Coach O, Chief Brett Evans from Edgewater Park PD, and our partners for making this a reality!
2nd Annual Trunk or Treat – Tomorrow 10/29
2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Don't forget to wear your favorite costume and come on down to the Riverfront Promenade tomorrow, Saturday, October 29th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. This event is sponsored by Pearl Pointe Apartments and the City of Burlington Police Department for City of Burlington Elementary School Students. We hope to see you there! ***We will also be accepting non-perishables at "Fill-a-Trunk" event during "Trunk-or-Treat" on Saturday, Oct 29 from 5-6:30pm on the promenade in Burlington. Breast Cancer Awareness and Covid Prevention Event – Saturday 10/15/22

Dysautonomia Awareness – Turquoise Ribbons on Patrol Vehicles
We had some very special visitors this past Friday who came by to assist Det. Lambing, Corporal Rios and Officer Murphy with tying turquoise ribbons on the patrol vehicles for Dysautonomia awareness. Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive is back!
Don't forget this Saturday the 13th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive is back! Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Downtown City of Burlington. Toys will be distributed thru the Mayor's Giving Tree and other local organizations helping children this Holiday!

***FREE YOUTH COAT DISTRIBUTION*** **ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED** There will be a free, youth coat distribution held at the Daniel Keegan Recreation Center on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 3 PM – 5 PM for Burlington City Students in grades K – 12. Parents must bring their child in order to receive a coat. Sizes 4t- Adult XXL for boys and girls K-12th grade. Pre-registration online is required.
