Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.

Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

Breakfast with our Boys Series
Have you heard of Breakfast with our Boys?? "The mission of the Breakfast with Our Boys Series, is to provide male youth with guidance and support, to become productive, caring and responsible citizens in their communities" Breakfast with Our Boys Series is a monthly interactive conversation with boy's 10-15 years of age, over breakfast. The conversations are designed to empower our youth to excel in school, dream bigger, discover their passion and lead healthy lives. Rest in Peace Lorraine Lowden
The City of Burlington Police Department is saddened to hear of the passing of Lorraine Lowden. Lorraine retired from Burlington City Police Department after 25 years of dedicated service. During her time here she worked first as a meter maid, then moved inside to dispatch, and finally, as a records clerk. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lorraine's family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in Peace Lorraine A viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E Union St., Burlington, NJ on Friday, March 31 from 5pm to 8pm. In addition, a viewing will be held at St. Paul Church, 223 E Union St, Burlington, NJ from 9:30am to 10:30am with a mass of Christian burial at 11am. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive is back!
Don't forget this Saturday the 13th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Cruise for Kids Holiday Toy Drive is back! Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Downtown City of Burlington. Toys will be distributed thru the Mayor's Giving Tree and other local organizations helping children this Holiday!

Did you know...? Beginning today, November 4, 2021, food service businesses will only provide a single-use plastic straw to customers UPON REQUEST by the customer. Stores may continue to sell packages of single-use plastic straws and provide/sell a beverage pre-packaged by the manufacturer with a single-use plastic straw, i.e., juice boxes. ***FREE YOUTH COAT DISTRIBUTION***
***FREE YOUTH COAT DISTRIBUTION*** **ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED** There will be a free, youth coat distribution held at the Daniel Keegan Recreation Center on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 3 PM – 5 PM for Burlington City Students in grades K – 12. Parents must bring their child in order to receive a coat. Sizes 4t- Adult XXL for boys and girls K-12th grade. Pre-registration online is required. Happy Halloween Safety Tips
The City of Burlington Police Department would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Halloween! With that being said, PLEASE REMEMBER THE JUVENILE CURFEW IS 10:00 P.M. AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Please check out some safety tips below: Practice hand hygiene by handwashing or hand sanitizer Trick-or-treat in well-known neighborhoods. Accept treats only at the front door. Never enter the home of a stranger. Carry glow sticks or flashlights, use reflective tape or stickers on costumes and bags, and wear light colors to help kids see and be seen by drivers. Approach only homes that have their front porch light on. Join kids under age 12 for trick-or-treating. Remind kids to cross the street at corners or crosswalks. Put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to the left as possible.
